NMIX 4220

NMIX 4220 is better known as Digital Brown Bag in the New Media Institute! I took this class in the Spring of 2020. During my time in this class, I learned about a variety of different “real-life” topics including: the job search, credit reports/scores, and what life after college is like. This 2 hour credit course taught me a great deal on what the “real world” after college will be like by introducing a variety of speakers and professionals on each topic.

While this course did not contain any specific assignments I can post on my portfolio, (as many of them contained personal information) I wanted to be sure its’ impact was highlighted on my certificate journey. This course opened my eyes to may different career fields and ideas for after college and I am very grateful for that.

What I Took Away

Taking Digital Brown Bag opened my eyes to a great deal of new and exciting ideas. Through this course I was able to hear about many opportunities and careers I had never considered. Additionally, this course taught me how to be confident in my abilities and to not doubt the skills I have learned.
